Sometimes you've gotta pivot!
What happens once you get your bike and you start putting on the miles? You have to maintain it. The most important part of your ride is making sure you and your motorbike are ready for the task. While the dealer offers you a great source to get your maintenance done, it is vital that YOU know the basics.
People's Moto Co. was started because of all of YOU - Moto People. We all have a significant bond just by riding motorcycles. I really believe there is space here in Portland for more community driven garages. Especially one that supports metric motorcycles (we will have a standard tool box too). Over the years I have seen it first hand how many riders want to learn to work on their bikes. With costs of service increasing some need the option to do it themselves. It is very rewarding to complete a service or project on your own bike, then take it out for a rip knowing YOU made that difference!
We are working on securing funding and the location for the PMC DIY Rider's Garage. We will offer a community space with lifts, a wide variety of professional tools, and lots of workshop style classes. It will be an ego-free space where Moto People can hang out and learn from one another. The goal is to empower you with the tools and education to get the job done. All the while building stronger bonds, igniting interest in new things and having fun.
Exciting times ahead, until then we'll be doing service out of the garage. Check out the services tab for details!
